Living Experience

Now let’s talk about the life in Kumaun University. People often say that simpler lives are easier and more fulfilling to lead. Well, you will have a chance to discover the answer to that question yourself. Life in the secluded mountain areas is much different to live in a metro city.

The hustle of city sounds is usually missing. So is the pollution. The air of the mountains is much cleaner, the traffic is much gentler, the people are a lot more accommodating. Big, established brands are missing, with regular shopping happening exclusively at local shops in the small markets.

The weather is also much more unstable, with flash rains sometimes forcing you to cancel your plans for the next few days. Life in the mountains is a unique one indeed.
